Today, I had my eye doctor appointment, and while we were waiting for the doctor to come in, I decided that I would draw a picture.  Mommy was so proud of me that she had to take a picture!! :)

Water Colors

This past weekend, we went to a neighborhood garage sale, and Daddy found this neat water table. Charley and I have been having so much fun playing with it.  Today, we decided to put color tablets in the water, which made it SO much more fun.  We just ALL love water!

This morning, Daddy and I had a special date.  We walked to my school and celebrated Donuts with Daddy Day. It was so much fun eating with Daddy, and he even got to stay for my circle time and watch us sing all of our songs.  What a fun morning!

Today, I had my 18 month check up. Once I got into the room, I was NOT very happy about it.  I fussed some, and waved goodbye and blew my kisses to the nurses.  Since the last time I went to the doctor, I was sent to the ER, I wasn't too happy about this one!  Once Dr. Dreiling got in, I was better.  The best news is that I didn't have to get any shots today!!!  Yeehaw.   Here are my stats (compared to Javed when he was my age)

Date Night

Mommy and Daddy are starting something new where they are going to take turns taking Charley and me on individual dates.  Tonight, Charley and Daddy had a date at home, and they had fun walking around the block and playing together.  Mommy and I decided to go Marble Slab for our special date.  I was excited to get some mint ice cream, and even more excited to put gummi bears in it.  I know--I probably just invented a new ice cream flavor. :)   After Mommy got her sweet cream ice cream with some Reeses Pieces, we sat outside and just talked.  After we finished, Mommy thanked me for coming, and I told her that it was so nice spending time with her.  Melted her heart!  Then after she opened the car door for me, I told Mommy she needed to wait for me, and I ran in front of her, and opened the car door for her.  I waited until she got inside, and then closed the door for her.  Even though Mommy thought it was a little crazy to spend almost $8 on an ice cream cone and a kiddie ice cream, she thought the time with me was priceless!

Mommy LOVES it when I come home from school and share some of the great things I've been learning.  Since school has started, I have learned to trace and write my letters and my name.  I have also learned TONS of wonderful songs, and I have learned how to be a better classmate and friend.  Most importantly, I am learning about Jesus and how much He loves me.  One day while I was getting dressed, Mommy heard me say, "I clothe myself in the Lord Jesus Christ."  How cool is that?  Then, yesterday, I came home with a new song that Mommy and Daddy REALLY like! :)

"He is not here. He has risen."  Matthew 28:6  We were all so excited to wake up and know that Easter was finally here!  Jesus has risen, and it was time to celebrate!  We were extra glad to know that the Easter bunny stopped by our house and left us some special treats.

After we checked out our Easter baskets and ate some yummy treats, we got ready to go to church.  I got dressed all spiffy, and Charley looked beautiful.  It was extra special because Charley got to wear the dress that Kayla wore in Mommy and Daddy's wedding almost 10 years ago.  Way neat!
