EIEIOops

This evening, I was in my first program called EIOEOops.  My class was all frogs, and I have been practicing all week leaping around!   Once I got up on the stage, I was SUPER nervous, and although I would't look at anyone (and at times I covered my face), I still tried to do my big jumps.  Javed was SO proud of me, and when he saw that I was the first person to lead my class into the program, he turned to Mommy and said, "Look- Charley is the star!"  So sweet!!

Another side note from Mommy:  Today, when I picked up Charley from school, as soon as she got in the car, she said, "I'm so sorry, Mommy."  When I asked her what happened, she said that she was sorry I missed her program.  Poor thing had had her dress rehearsal, and thought that none of us showed up. :(  She felt much better when I told her it was really tonight and that Mommy, Daddy, Javed,  Mama D and Papa Rock would all be there.  She wanted Caly to come too, but seemed ok with her audience. :)

He said:  Today, Daddy and I had some special time together.  We woke up and walked to the donut store together and then we came back to the house and played some Who Shook Hook?  After that, Daddy decided he was going to take me to an awesome movie theater where we could push a button and order food.  We got to see the Lego Movie.  We had so much fun together--I just love time with my daddy!!

Service Project

Since today was a holiday, we both got to go to our MIA service project, where we made cards for people in elderly homes.  We hope that they will smile big and be remembered of how much Jesus loves them when they see our cards!

This morning, we had our Valentine's Party at my school. Charley and Mommy got to come to it and celebrate with us!  We did a craft, ate yummy snacks, played games, and listened to a story---we had such a fun time together.  Then, when I got home, I got to open up all my Valentines from my classmates.  SO fun!!

Today, we had a Valentines Party at my school, and Mommy got to come celebrate with me.  We made a fun Valentines trail mix with all kinds of pink and white treats to share with my friends.  What a fun morning!

28 Weeks

The Next Great Baker

Today, I helped Mommy make a new recipe for Grandpa's birthday.  We made banana pudding pie, and I was the official taster.  Can you tell I approved???

Today, I went to the doctor and had my glucose test.  It was not fun to fast, but I am so grateful that everything turned out well and I don't have gestational diabetes.  Although this has been a much rougher pregnancy, I feel so blessed that I am overall healthy and Ms. Riley Grace is growing nicely! :)
