Happy New Years Eve

He said:  This morning, I had a very early eye doctor's appointment, so after it was over, Mommy and I had a special breakfast date.  We went to Mimis and ate a yummy meal together--we had so much fun!   After that, we went grocery shopping for our New Years Eve party that night.  Daddy had a great idea for us to get some fun party food and have a party with just our little family tonight.  We've had a rough couple of weeks---all of us have been sick and we are moving in less than a month.  We decided we needed to celebrate tonight.    Before Daddy got home from work, we put everything together and had the table all decorated.  We were so excited about our party!!! :)   Happy New Years Eve to everyone!!

Merry Christmas

This morning, it's finally Christmas!!!  Happy birthday to Jesus, our Savior of the World.

This Christmas was not quite normal.  A couple of days ago, Mommy started feeling pretty bad and she found out yesterday that she has the flu.  She has been stuck in bed, and we have been hanging out with Mama D, Papa Rock, and Daddy.  This morning when we woke up, we relaxed for awhile, and then we all opened our presents!!!!  We got lots of awesome things- coloring books, new markers, books, baby doll, games, and our 2 big presents- a dollhouse and a castle.  We were so excited about all of our new gifts.  After we opened our presents, we had a relaxing day and got to play with our toys.  Although it was not the kind of day we excepted (or Mommy and Daddy expected), we still had a great time and we are so blessed to have such wonderful family!!!

This morning, Mommy and I went to one of my friend's house for a Christmas party.  It was a lot of fun, and Santa was there!  I had seen him a couple of days ago and was pretty unsure about him, but this time was much better.  He talked to me for a long time and showed me his special keys to get into houses that don't have chimneys.  When he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I told him a dollhouse.  This was the first time that I actually came up with something on my own, which was pretty cool!   We had yummy treats and then I listened to Santa read us The Polar Express.  Before I left, he gave me a bell from his sleigh (he even gave me one more to bring to Javed).   I am so excited for Christmas!

Today is also Mommy and Daddy's 11 year anniversary---Happy Anniversary! :)

Christmas Party #2

He said: Today, we had the Christmas party at my school.  Mommy and Charley came and we ate yummy treats, played pin the carrot on Frosty, did a marshmallow toss, and just visited with my friends.  Though I will miss my friends and my teacher, I am looking forward to a long Christmas break!

This morning, we had the Christmas party at my school.  We got to see Santa (which I wasn't a huge fan of) and have a little party in our classroom.  We listened to a Christmas story, exchanged books with my friends, and ate yummy treats.  What a fun morning!

Today, Mommy is officially 20 weeks pregnant.  That means, we are halfway to the point where we get to meet our new little sister.  We are so excited!

19 Weeks

I'm 19 weeks and finally starting to feel better!!!  Thank you, God!!! :)

Iced In

On Thursday night, we started to get some sleet, and as the days have progressed, we have all been iced in!!!  School was canceled, and we have had a lot of time hanging around the house.  Mommy has been trying to pack, and we have had a lot of time to play.  Overall, we have been playing very sweetly together, and at one time Mommy overheard Charley telling me, "You are the best big brother in the whole world." Charley later told me that I was her best friend and then I told her that she was my best friend too.  Mommy and Daddy thought we were sooo cute! :)

We also had some fun times playing outside in the ice.  We tried to sled some, and we loved finding "icebergs" (otherwise known as icicles). :)   We had fun searching for big pieces of ice and throwing them in the street.  Fun times.

Christmas Dinner

Tonight, we were supposed to go with Mama D and Papa Rock to Pastor John's condo to watch the Grapevine Parade.  Unfortunately, the weather did not want to cooperate with us.  It started to sleet this afternoon, and they canceled the parade. Since the weather wasn't too bad, Pastor John still invited us to his house and we got to go for a little while.  We had hot chocolate, ate yummy food, and had a nice time visiting.  Javed was really cute because he kept wanting Pastor John to see everything that he thought was neat.  They had some music on the TV, and everytime Javed saw something cool, he had to make sure Pastor John saw it too.  I think he liked him! :)  We had a great night and hopefully, we will be able to have the parade later in December.

Christmas Festival

This afternoon, we went to our Christmas Festival at church.  We got to see Bonnie, Fiona, and Eliza there, which was really cool.  We played games, got our faces painted, went on a train, tubed down an ice sled, and we got to see a live nativity.  We had such a wonderful time there.  After that, we went to a family dinner at Chilis. What an awesome afternoon!

This morning, we had the appraiser coming to our house, so Mommy and I decided to have a little breakfast date at Panera Bread.  It was fun to just be the two of us.  She let me pick out whatever I wanted, and I chose a carrot cake muffin.  I liked it a little bit, and I really liked her blueberry scone.  What a fun morning.
