Halloween

For Halloween this year, we were super excited to go Trick or Treating.  We started earlier in the day by going trick or treating around our house.  Mommy would hide in a room, and Charley and I would go around and knock on the door, and she would give us candy.  This was a good practice for us to say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you."  Then, after Daddy got home from work, we went to a local church and had fun at their Trunk or Treat.  We even got to go on a hayride while we were there.   After we left there, we went around our neighborhood and did some more trick or treating.  What a fun night!!!

Eye Doctor

Today, I went to the eye doctor for my checkup.  I was a good patient as they did a bunch of little tests on me.  In the past, I have always had name different pictures, but today, I actually named letters instead.  I am definitely getting older! :)  Today, we found out that I am going to need to have surgery to correct my eyes.  I got scared when I heard the doctor tell Mommy that, but she reassured me that she and Daddy would take care of me.  Even though I am not excited about having surgery, I am hoping that it will help see better and maybe I won't have to wear my patch anymore!

Little Monkey

Lately, I have not been too fond of taking my naps.  Instead, I like to read my books, find toys in the closet to play with, or take out all of my clothes from my drawers.  Today, I found a new idea.  I could use the ottoman to climb onto my dresser, and then I could play with the sound machine and relax on my changing table.  Mommy thinks I'm a little monkey! :)

Naps?

Today, when Mommy came to get me up from my "nap," she saw that I had but my friends to sleep instead.  She thought it was SO cute how I found a pillow, took the blanket off my bed, and tucked in my little friends.  When Mommy got out her camera, I thought it would be cute to lay down with them! :)

Fun at the Park

This morning, we were planning on going to the pumpkin patch with our friends, Jordan and Noelle.  When we got there, they were closed, so we decided to go to this cool park instead.  We had SO much fun playing, going on nature walks, and having a picnic.  What an awesome morning!

Cooked Spaghetti

While we were in Houston, we continued our C week by playing with cooked spaghetti.  It's amazing how fun some noodles, utensils, and containers can be! :)

Mommy Time

This weekend, Mommy, Charley, and I went to Houston.  On Saturday, Mommy and Nana went to a shower to celebrate Jacqueline and the upcoming birth of her little girl.  Then, Sunday, they got to go to a nice brunch to do some more celebrating! :)  They had SO much fun being with their friends, and Charley and I had a blast with Grandpa.  We played together, and he even took us on a walk to the park!  What fun times!

Go Aggies!

Today, we got to catch the ending of the A&M game.  I got so excited to yell for our team, and Charley was so cute as she kept repeating, "GO AGGIES."

Target Practice

While we were in Houston this week, Nana got me a special gift at the Guild--I got my very own bow and arrow set!  I absolutely love playing with it.  Today, we decided to make a pyramid out of soda cans, and I tried to knock them down.  I just love my new gift.  Thank you, Nana!

Fun with C Week

We have lots of fun learning about the letter C.  We made chocolate chip C cookies, which were fun to make, and even more fun to eat!  We also read a book about clouds, and then we used cotton balls and chalk to make our own clouds!   We also have been learning a lot about our two bible verses- "Children, obey your parents in everything for this pleases the Lord" and "Cast your cares on the Lord He will sustain you.  He will never let the righteous fall."
