Halloween

We were all SOOO excited about Halloween.  When it was time to go start our festivities, Mommy took Riley's temperature and she had a little fever.  Mama D came to our rescue and came to play with her, so Mommy could take us to trick or treat.  We first went to Daddy's work and trick or treated there.  Then, we went for a quick dinner and then to a Trunk or Treat at the church where we go to MIA.  After that, we went back to our house and got Riley bundled up and went trick or treating in our neighborhood.  We got lots of candy and had TONS of fun!

Halloween Parade

Today, Daddy came to my school to watch my Halloween concert and then go trick or treating with me.  I was sad that Mommy and Riley couldn't come, but they had to make sure Riley was all better from being sick!   Thank You, Daddy, for taking off work to spend the morning with me!

Sidenote:  At dinner, when we asked Charley what her favorite part of the day was she said, "Daddy coming to watch me at my school."  When we asked her worst part, she said that Daddy couldn't stay all day at school with her. :)

Today, I got to help Mommy make some baby food for Riley!! I was so excited to be a part of feeding my little sister, and I proudly peeled many carrots.  After I peeled them, Mommy steamed them and put them in the Vitamix to puree them.  After they were done, I even got to help her put the puree in these neat little pouches.  When we gave it to Riley to it, she wasn't so sure about it, but we are hoping with time, she will like it even more!
