New Year's Eve

Today, we had a fun last day of the year.  We raked a lot of leaves and played a lot.  I got to try out my new construction gear, which was really cool.  Then, Charley and I got to have a New Year's Eve party with Mama D and Papa Rock while Mommy and Daddy went out for dinner with their friends.  We got cool hats and had a yummy meal together.  Happy New Year's Eve to everyone!

Making Juice

This morning, Daddy, Charley, and Mommy left to go back home, and although I'll miss them, I am SO excited to stay with Nana and Grandpa for a couple of days.  Today, Nana and I picked a bunch of oranges, and we worked VERY VERY hard to make some orange juice.  After hours of hard work, we got about a gallon of juice.  We were proud of ourselves, and we were super tired.  Nana and I both look a long nap, and then enjoyed the rest of our day together!

First, We Rolled Our Oranges to Make Them Squishier and We Sang "Rolling, Rolling, Rolling..."

After Nana Cut Them In Half, We Turned and Squeezed On Our Juicer as We Said, "ARRGGH"

We Then Poured the Juice from the Bottom of the Juicer to the Sifter

Then, We Turned the Handle of the Sifter

Then, We Tapped, Tapped, Tapped to Get the Seeds and Extra Pulp Into the Vitamix

Picking Oranges

Nana has an awesome orange tree in her backyard, and we decided that we should make some orange juice together.  Before we made the juice, we had to go outside and pick lots of yummy oranges.  It was HARD work, but Nana and I were a good team!

Family Time

This afternoon, our family came over for our Christmas celebration.  We opened presents, played games, ate a fantastic meal, and reenacted the Christmas story.  Though we are not ready for Broadway, we had a really great time performing our play, and it was a good reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.   What an AWESOME day we had together!

Christmas Day

This morning, we woke up and we were all so excited to see lots of presents and our stockings full. It's a pretty neat deal that we get to open up presents on Jesus' birthday!

We had so much fun opening up all our presents and stockings.   After we cleaned up some and packed the car, we took a long drive to Houston to celebrate with Nana and Grandpa.  When we got there, JoJo, Megan, Bobo, Kayla, and Richard all came over to celebrate too.  We had an awesome time!  It was so wonderful to see both sides of our family on Christmas Day.  Happy birthday, Jesus!
