Fun With Water

This afternoon, Mama D came home from her long trip to Costa Rica.  We were so excited to see her, and I decided that we should all go eat at "The Tortilla Place" aka Uncle Julio's.  After dinner, Charley and I had fun playing outside, especially at the fountain.  Charley got soaking wet, so when we got home, Mommy put some water in a bucket, and we had a great time playing in the water!  Charley loved filling cups up with water and then pouring the cups into our little red car.  I loved using the funnel and trying to get every brick wet.  Fun times. :)

This morning, we went to an Easter Eggstravaganza at the new church that we've been attending.  We had so much fun searching for eggs, playing games, and hearing the Easter story.  After that, we went to lunch with some new friends, and we had a great time playing together.  What an awesome morning.

 Sweet Charley, you are such a bright sunshine in my life.  Your passion for life truly amazes me.  You see the world in your little unique way, and you fearlessly set out to get what you desire.  With this special quality, comes lots of energy and sometimes one tired mamma! :)  Today, as Mommy and you were playing in your room, you decided to do a little organizing in your closet.  You brought me your red socks, orange bow, red and blue headband, and blue and white headband, and you wanted them ALL on!  Too funny!  After you had emptied all the boxes in the closet, it was on to the next task.

Later today, as I was cooking dinner tonight, I heard a funny little laugh coming out of you.  I looked up to see you holding the phone in your kitchen, saying, "Daddy, Daddy, Daddy..."  I thought it was so cute, and it took me a minute to realize that you had climbed up on your kitchen.  I just had to get a quick picture!

As tired as we can all be at the end of the day, I wouldn't trade one minute with you, sweet baby girl!

Today was picture day at my school, and it was extra cool because they said I could bring Charley to take some pictures with her! After we got dressed, we had some time to play around the house.   I just love being with my sister. :)

Monthly Dinner

This afternoon, we surprised Bobo and Kayla at their school, and then we all went to dinner at Chili's.  Since we don't get to see them enough, we decided that we would spend the night again.  After dinner, we went and got ice cream, and then we had a great time running around the house.  Kayla and I made up a routine and performed for Bobo and Mommy.  They were super impressed. :)  Fun times.
