Fun Day

Since we have been at Nana and Grandpa's house, we have been spoiling ourselves.  Pretty much every morning, we make pancakes for breakfast, and Charley and I just LOVE that.  As Mommy was making pancakes this morning, she accidentally got two pancakes together, so she decided to make me a snowman pancake.  I just loved it.  Charley loved the pancakes too...especially the blueberries!

After breakfast, we played a lot.  Nana let me open one of my Christmas presents kind of early, and both Javed and I just LOVED it--it was a neat piano that we could play.  The piano was awesome, but so was the box!  I had lots of fun climbing in and out of it!

After we played for awhile, we went to see Lauren and baby Noah.  We had a great time with them, and we had a wonderful lunch together.  After lunch and naps, Nana and Mommy took us on a walk  to the park. Javed and I had SO much fun playing there. Javed wanted to try out each of the different playground activities, and I had so much fun sliding. Mommy and Nana thought it was REALLY cute because there were a group of girls that were following me around, and they thought I was adorable.  It was like I was a celebrity!  It was pretty funny!

After our fun at the park, it was time to come home and get baths.  Mommy hurt her back a couple of days ago, so Nana has been giving me a bath.  After I was finished, she put some lotion on me, and I just loved it!

Nice and Relaxing

After Javed was finished with his bath, I had some fun wrestling with my lion brother.  Not quite the relaxing bedtime routine, but it was fun!

After all of our fun today, it was sure nice to turn off the lights and go night night!

Daddy

In the past couple of months, I have become a MAJOR Daddy's girl.  In fact, there are times that I push Mommy's hands away, so I can stay with my daddy. On Tuesday morning, we had to drop Daddy off at the airport to go back home, and as you can imagine, I sure miss him a lot. Before we got to Houston, Nana had just framed a family portrait of us, and since Daddy has left,  I keep walking over to it and pointing at it, so I can see Daddy.  This morning when I woke up, Mommy was in another room, and she heard a loud noise.  She ran into the room and saw that I gotten the picture down by myself, and I was just sitting on the floor and pointing to Daddy, saying "Daddy, Daddy..."  So sweet....

Little Ricky

This afternoon, Mommy had to go get something on her new phone fixed, so while she was at the Apple Store, Nana walked Charley and me around the mall. While we were strolling around, I saw a neat store called Build-A-Bear.  I had never seen that before, so Nana let Charley and me go look around.  After Mommy was finished getting her phone fixed, she and Nana decided to let me build my own bear.  I picked out a really cute little tan bear, and I brought it to one of the workers there.  He stuffed it, and I got to put a heart in him.  Then I gave him a bath and picked out some boxer shorts for him to wear.  We then made him a birth certificate, and I named him Ricky.  The nice man that worked there even gave me a little house to carry Ricky around.  I just love my new little friend!

Sidenote from Mommy:  The other day, Javed told Nana that he wanted a little brother.  We both thought that was so cute, and since that is not in the plans right now, we thought a little bear would be a great friend! :)  Too funny.

The True Meaning of Christmas

Today, Charley and I helped Nana put out the Nativity Scene in her front yard.  Mommy and Nana were so proud of me and how well I could hammer.  I was concentrating very hard, and they said I did a great job!  After we got the Nativity up, Charley and I gave kisses to baby Jesus.  Everytime we go outside now, Charley says, "Baby," and she wants to go touch Him.  What a beautiful reminder of the real reason of the season!

Roarrr!

On Black Friday, Nana and Mommy got Charley and me some neat hooded towels from Kohls.  Charley got a little pink caterpiller, and I got a lion.  Every night after I take a bath, I have been prowling around and scaring everyone...ROARRRR!

It's Snowing In Here

Today as Nana opened her presents, I found something that was pretty cool--styrofoam.  I kept crinkling it up, and I was able to make snow in the house!  How fun is that?

Surprise Party

In about a half of a month, our nana is having a big birthday...she will be turning 65 years old!  We have been planning a big surprise party for her, and today is finally the day that we got to surprise her.  We told her that we were going to Aunt Kristen's to celebrate Aric's birthday, but instead we had a party for her.  It was SO fun to surprise her, and we hope that she felt enveloped in love... we sure love her!
