Fun Lunch

Today was our last Sunday before Riley arrives, so we decided to go out for a fun lunch at Mellow Mushroom after church.  We had such a nice time being together!!!

38 Weeks

Today, I am officially 38 weeks, and if Riley has not come by next Thursday, they are going to induce me.  We all cannot wait to meet her and hold her in our arms!!!!!!  Riley Grace, we hope you always know how much you are loved and cherished!!!

Park Time

This afternoon after school, Mommy took us to the park to play with Ty.  We had so much fun playing and Mommy and Ms. Ashley had fun taking a nice walk to see if they could get Ms. Riley out. :)  Didn't work, but we had a great time playing!

Happy Easter

Today is Easter Sunday and we get to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior!  We have been reading the Jesus Storybook Bible all week together and doing some activities to prepare us for today!  We were super excited to wake up and see that the Easter Bunny had left us a little present.  After that, we celebrated the real reason for today and we went to church together!  After that, we came home and made some Resurrection Rolls and talked about how Jesus has risen from the dead!! Alleluia! Then, we got to play at Mama D's and Papa Rock's for a little while Mommy and Daddy went on one last day before Riley arrives. :)  When we got home, we got to do one more egg hunt.   What a wonderful Easter!

This morning, we had some nice family time.  We went out for donuts together and then went to Lowes and looked for some flowers to plant.  When we were searching for flowers, we saw this really neat insect---looked like a small hummingbird but also an insect---we called it a humming-bug. :)  It was so wonderful looking at all the beautiful colors of flowers and finding some new flowers to plant in our front yard.  We had to get some pink ones to welcome our little Riley home soon! :)

Easter Party

Today, we went to an Easter party at Ms. Jackie's house.   We had some yummy food, played Easter games, went on another Easter egg hunt, and played in her awesome yard and tree house!  We had so much fun playing!

We have been dreaming and planning what we are going to do with Riley's room.  Today, Daddy had the day off, and we finally got our curtains in the mail, so we worked on finishing up her room.  It was so cute because Mommy went to the other room and when she came back, Daddy had one of Charley's babies and he put a blanket around her and was rocking her in the glider.  Super cute!  We are so excited to meet our sweet Riley Grace!!!! 12 days or LESS!!! :)

Today, Daddy had the day off, and he took me on a special date!  We went to Chick-fil-A and had an awesome time together.  I just LOVE my daddy!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Tonight, we went to an Easter Egg Hunt with our MIA church friends.  We had dinner together, and then we listened to the Easter story.  After that, we were able to hunt for eggs and do a sack race and an egg toss.  Javed even won one of the sack races and got to pick out a special prize.  He chose an Easter basket with some cool police gear in it.  What a great time we had celebrating Easter!

Mommy has been researching and trying to find some neat activities for us to do once Riley gets here.   I decided this morning to try one of them out.   Mommy gave me some different noodles, and I had a ball stringing some of them on pipe cleaners and making bracelets.  Then, she gave me some Easter eggs, and I had SO MUCH FUN scooping, filling, and emptying the eggs.  Seriously, I played with this for about an hour while Mommy made blueberry muffins.  We had a fun morning, and I just love these sensory bins! :)
