Family Weekend

For the past couple of months, we have been planning a get together with our family in San Antonio.  Unfortunately, sweet Charley got sick on Tuesday, and we weren't sure if we were going to make it.  By Friday morning, she was seeming to feel much better, so we packed up the car and headed to San Antonio.  After a LONG trip, we were SO excited to see Nana and Grandpa, Kristen, Sammy, Emma, and Aric.  We unpacked and then headed to the Riverwalk.  We were able to ride the barge and look at lights around the Riverwalk.  We had such a good time, and our guide was absolutely hilarious, so that made it even more fun! After the ride, we decided to go have a Mexican dinner and celebrate Mommy and Daddy's 10 year anniversary!!!  We had a good time being with each other, but sadly, Charley started to get sick again.  Poor baby girl.  We headed back to our hotel rooms and settled in for a good night sleep.  The next day, we had a very lazy day and sweet Charley was even sicker.  Not quite the weekend we had hoped for, but we enjoyed laying low and just being with our family.  Saturday night, we got to open presents and then Bobo, Richard, and Kayla came.   We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family!!!
