School Party

Today, we got to celebrate my birthday at school! Mommy and Riley got to come to Circle Time and sing songs with me and then watch me do my birthday spin. After that, I went to my classroom for awhile and then Mommy and Riley came back and had cupcakes with my friends and me! It's so fun turning 4!!!

Hunger for His Word

From Mommy: One of the best parts of Javed going to a private school is seeing his hunger for God's Word. He is so excited about learning his weekly Bible verse and he gets even more excited to memorize a verse or hear a scripture in a song and then go find it in the Bible. 5 Months

Today, our Riley Grace is 5 months old! Time is flying by too quickly, but we are trying to cherish all of our moments with our sweet baby girl. Here are some of the awesome things she has been doing over the past month!

She is rolling over all the time--both ways. She is also trying to scoot a little bit. We have to be WAY more careful putting her in the middle of the bed now.
She outgrew her Rock N Play and is now sleeping in her own bed upstairs.
Sometimes, when she is tired, she starts to sing herself to sleep.
For the first part of month 4, she was sleeping GREAT and only waking up about once a night. In the middle of the month, that has kind of changed. Sometimes she only wakes up once, but many times, it's multiple times a night. She goes to bed between 7-8 and wakes up usually between 7-8.
She is getting her first tooth (bottom row)
She is becoming A LOT more alert and is starting to get into things. She likes to grab everything--what's in our hands, our hair, clothes, whatever is near!
She is really liking her Exersaucer and is started to turn by herself.
She is starting to recognize people more ---she even laughed when she saw her Daddy after he came home from a business trip.
She is moving her mouth like she's trying to talk.
She has reached out several times for someone to hold her.
She is is still the sweetest baby...oh my...God has blessed us so much with these precious girl.
