Halloween

We were all SOOO excited about Halloween.  When it was time to go start our festivities, Mommy took Riley's temperature and she had a little fever.  Mama D came to our rescue and came to play with her, so Mommy could take us to trick or treat.  We first went to Daddy's work and trick or treated there.  Then, we went for a quick dinner and then to a Trunk or Treat at the church where we go to MIA.  After that, we went back to our house and got Riley bundled up and went trick or treating in our neighborhood.  We got lots of candy and had TONS of fun!

Halloween Parade

Today, Daddy came to my school to watch my Halloween concert and then go trick or treating with me.  I was sad that Mommy and Riley couldn't come, but they had to make sure Riley was all better from being sick!   Thank You, Daddy, for taking off work to spend the morning with me!

Sidenote:  At dinner, when we asked Charley what her favorite part of the day was she said, "Daddy coming to watch me at my school."  When we asked her worst part, she said that Daddy couldn't stay all day at school with her. :)

Happy Halloween

She said:  For Halloween this morning, Mommy got to come to my school while my friends and I performed Halloween songs for all the parents.  Mommy was so proud of how I was actually doing a lot of the actions while I sand the song.  Then, we got to go trick or treating around the church.  We had such a fun time together. I  was so excited to be a ballerina.

He said:  After I came home from school and we did my homework and ate an early dinner, Charley put her Halloween costume back on and I got my police outfit on, and we went to the church where Mommy does MIA.  We had so much fun trunk or treating and then we got to play some carnival games.  When we got home from the church, we went trick or treating around our neighborhood. By the end of the night, we were exhausted and had gotten TONS of candy.  What a fun night!

Halloween

For Halloween this year, we were super excited to go Trick or Treating.  We started earlier in the day by going trick or treating around our house.  Mommy would hide in a room, and Charley and I would go around and knock on the door, and she would give us candy.  This was a good practice for us to say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank you."  Then, after Daddy got home from work, we went to a local church and had fun at their Trunk or Treat.  We even got to go on a hayride while we were there.   After we left there, we went around our neighborhood and did some more trick or treating.  What a fun night!!!

Halloween

Halloween finally made it here, and I was so excited to dress up in my costume.  We went to a couple houses in our neighborhood to trick or treat, which was a lot of fun. Then, Mommy, Daddy, Charley, and I went to a Fall Festival at the church where Mommy goes to her MIA meetings.  It was really neat--they had lots of people that decorated their trunks, and we got to Trick or Treat at each car. Mommy and Daddy were so impressed at how loudly I would say "Trick Or Treat" and "Thank You." They thought it was really cute.  Charley and I got A LOT of candy!!!  My favorite candy was Dots, and Charley got to try a Reeses and a lollipop for the first time.  Pretty exciting.  As well as trick-or-treating, they had a bounce house and lots of fun games to play.
