D Bible Verse

This week, we have been learning all about the letter D. We have been talking a lot about our bible verse, "Do not be anxious about anything."  Mommy was so proud of me for tracing all the words to our verse.  We have also been listening to our bible verse in an awesome song by Family Seeds.   It sure is more exciting to learn bible verses when you can sing it!  The great thing is that the words get stuck in your mind, and so you are really repeating the bible verses over and over.  Too cool!

Birthday Party

Today, we went to a birthday party for a friend of ours, and we got to go bowling!  Charley and I both had so much fun learning how to bowl.  Charley had a neat little contraption that she could put the ball on, and once she pushed the ball, it would just roll down and go down the lane.  I got to try that too, but I also enjoyed rolling my own ball.  After we bowled and ate, we got these cool cards to use in the arcade. We had so much fun playing air hockey, basketball, and other fun games!  What an awesome party!

Happy 5th Birthday!

Today, when I woke up, I noticed something different.  There were streamers hanging down from my door and Mommy and Daddy were singing happy birthday to me! :)  Today, to celebrate my fifth birthday, Mommy and Daddy said that I could choose what we do.  First, I asked Mommy if she would make pancakes with sprinkles.  After breakfast, I wanted to watch my new favorite show: Jake and the Never Land Pirates.  Then, Charley and I got to play with some of our new toys for a little bit.  After that, Mommy, Charley, and I went to Parr Park, and we got to play and go on a nature walk, which was so much fun!  For lunch, we went to Chick-fil-A, where we got to eat and play!  Then, I got to go with Mama D to Project Fun.  For dinner, we got to go to Souper Salad.  When we got home, Mommy, Daddy, and Charley sang Happy Birthday to me, and we got to eat some cake.  Then, I got to open my presents!  What an awesome day!
