Houston Trip

This past week, we got to take a trip to Houston.  This was Riley's first BIG trip, and we were ALL so excited to go see our family!  On Wednesday morning, Bobo and Kayla came to our house, and we all set out for our drive together!!  It was a LONG trip, but we finally made it.    While we were there, we had A LOT of fun!!!!   This was Mommy's first trip with 3 kids, and while it slightly crazy, we have lots of good memories!

Can you tell that Miss Riley Grace is an awesome baby????  She was SO good and we are so blessed she is in our family!

On Friday morning, Nana and Grandpa took ALL of to the circus.  It was really neat getting to see all the cool acrobats, animals, and neat stunts.  Thank you so much for this awesome experience, Nana and Grandpa!  As Javed said,  "I see why they call this the Greatest Show on Earth."

After the circus, Grandpa took us all to a special lunch at Ruggles.  It was really yummy, and we enjoyed our time together. :)

Another big highlight was meeting our 2nd cousin, CJ.  He was SOOO cute, and we all just love him to pieces!

On Sunday, it was time to go home!!!  I was such a good traveler and it helped to have Kayla in the back seat for when I got a little tired of being in the car.

Today, Mommy and I went to a Pampered Chef Party while Daddy took Javed and Charley swimming.   We all had a great time.  When they got back, Daddy and I were both tired, and before we knew it, we had both fallen asleep on the couch.  Aren't we cute?

Snack?

This is too funny- I just had to post it.  During our nap time, Riley and I lay on the couch and relax.  Today (and many days :) ), I was eating some chocolate chips.  While I was eating, one fell, and I couldn't find it.  When we got up off the couch, I saw it had melted…  TOO FUNNY!

Baby Love

We are SO smitten by our sweet Riley Grace.  She is such a happy baby and has brought so much joy into our lives!!  We love you, Baby Girl!! :)

Outside Fun

This morning (before it got too hot), we did a little science experiment.  We poured a bunch of baking soda into a pan and then Mommy put food coloring in four little containers.  We added vinegar to the colored containers, and then we took medicine droppers and made cool fizzy color drops in the pan.  We had a blast!!!

Super Readers

This summer, we have been doing a lot of reading, and today, we went to the library to pick up our last rewards  for our summer reading program.  We got some cool toys, some coupons for free frozen custard, and some certificates congratulating us for our reading.  Javed read 15 books and Charley listened to 30 books!  Good job, super readers!

Today at Sunday School, our class threw us a little shower for Riley Grace and for our friends Andrea and Adam who are having a baby on Tuesday.    They were so sweet to shower us and show us how much they love us and our sweet baby girl!!!
